JUST FOR FUN . . .
My name is Michele Pollock Dalton; and,
I absolutely hate having my picture taken! In these days of duck faces and selfies, you can rest assured that my mug shot will never appear in your newsfeed =)
The first award I ever received for my writing was for an essay I wrote in the sixth grade. Titled "Freedom: Our Most Precious Heritage," the paper won regional and state competitions. And, I am sure that my mother still has those blue ribbons somewhere. =)
Inquiring minds want to know . . .
Are your characters anything like you?
In some ways every character carries a bit of my personality. In fact, it is why I have always been so unwilling to share my writing - it feels a bit like letting people read your diary.
Do you draw the sketches in your books?
I have been a graphic designer for thirty years; but unfortunately, I can't draw a reasonable stick figure. Luckily, I happened across a sweet lady who brings all my ideas to life. Thanks, Jerrah!
